MAC Liquid - Studio Sculpt SPF 15

This is my current foundation which I've used for the last few months, I love it. I was looking for ages for something with a medium to full coverage which also has a dewy effect instead off completely matte. I find this definitely needs to be set with a powder though otherwise it will go oily, I apply this with a stippling brush and I use mac makeup mineralize skinfinish to set it which goes perfectly with this.
The pros are it has excellent coverage, gives a beautiful glow to the skin, stays on for ages when set with powder (though may have to be touched up through the day with powder if you get oily), is good value for money as you only need a small amount and the packaging gets every last bit of foundation out, this stuff lasts me a good few months and I use it once possibly twice a day.
The cons are it is definitely not for oily skin, I would recommend a cream foundation if you are oily, if you are more into natural looking make up this is definitely not for you either as it is quite thick.
This is so far my favourite foundation and I will continue to purchase until I feel like a change, if you have the money to give this a try definitely do as it is a brilliant foundation!

Eye Shadow - Sally Girl - Mini Baked Eyeshadow

I just bought 3 of these at my local Sally on sale (99 cents in Canada is a sale). I got the deep purple, gold and dark green. I'm wearing the purple and gold today. They are fantastic! The purple is super pigmented and blends like a dream. The gold took a little more work to get on the brush at first. I think that some eyeshadows oxidize or something and can become really hard on the outer surface. After I got through that part, though, the gold was also quite pigmented and lovely to work with. I've only swatched the green, but I imagine it will be quite similar in pigmentation and blendability as these two. I did not use them wet, just over elf's stick primer, which is much like a concealer. The purple is just blowing my mind! I was expecting to have to spend a lot of time blending based on some of the other comments I've read. Not true for the one I got! The packaging lacks a little in sturdiness, but they are just sitting in my makeup case at home. If I need to travel with them, I'll just tape them closed.
Overall, well worth the buck. I may have to go back and get all the other colors.
